Notice of change of processing mode from the National Directorate of Medicines - DNM

Share

The National Directorate of Medicines, DNM, informs all users that as of October 19, 2020, import procedures, which were carried out in person at its offices, must be carried out electronically. This is part of the "Integral Business Process Management System", which is being developed thanks to the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The objective of implementing this innovative system is to make the management of import authorization procedures faster and more efficient, as well as the institutional interoperability of the NDM, by creating an integrated computer system that supports the dynamization of the economy and trade facilitation, promoting the modernization of the State and the use of new technologies.

This innovative platform will allow users to carry out the procedures online; when the process starts, the tool will generate the documents, payment orders and the final resolution automatically, even if there are observations to be solved, the same system will notify them to their e-mail. Finally, you will be provided with the authorization, which can be verified by the corresponding authorities, through a QR code, which can be downloaded from the NDM's PPP or in the following official link: https://licencias.medicamentos.gob.sv/resoluciones/buscar

Another advantage is that the user will carry out the procedure from any place, he does not need to go to the central offices of the DNM, for more information at: https://portalenlinea.medicamentos.gob.sv

It is necessary to clarify that the processes carried out at the Center for Import and Export Procedures, CIEX, will remain in force.

USAID cooperation, through the Regional Trade Facilitation and Border Management Project, supports the implementation of key elements in the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Trade Facilitation (TFA).
